Technically speaking, i have been packing for 5 days, although i actually i have just 1 space bag in my bag. I never realized how much money and time i would actually have to put into packing for 3 months. This break has been entirely too short, and i am missing people already before i even leave. Splitting time between family and friends proved to be much more difficult than i imagined. I have invested in some things to help me keep in touch with people., My best friend is going to Chile for 7 months so we both downloaded skype and bought webcams to keep in touch. I also bought one for my family so that we can keep in touch as long as i have an internet connection. I keep pretending that i have loads of time to do things before i leave, however i have just 2 days. On New years day my mom plans to make my favorite dinner, chicken parm (which i am really excited about) and i want to spend time with my sisters before i leave. However, my sisters and parents are not the only people i will be leaving, i will also be leaving all of my friends including two of my best friends who i will not see until the middle of JULY! Well i guess thats it, i should really "finish" packing.

ps. i will NEVER get my suitcase to under 50 lbs. I have decided...it is IMPOSSIBLE.
